To-Do List
Not to be bossy or anything, but I wanted to hoof down some of the stuff that could make it easier for the staff to handle things and all. Here they are:
• Make a Staff Section and hide it from ordinary members just so you could be able to discuss things privately. I can't honestly tell if there is one, but if there already is, just ignore this one.
• Add some buttons for the Title bar (Home, Calendar, Gallery, etc.). I am a GFX artist, so if you need help, I'll be more than happy to offer it (without taking Shy's place).
• Try a different theme and then change it back to the pink/purple color scheme. This one looks too basic, and it really needs some more lines. Look up the skins from Hitskin.com. If you need help with changing images and the color scheme, I am here to assist.
• Add the Quick-Reply option again as I explained how to do so earlier.
• Remove the "Free Forum :" at the start of the forum name through Admin Panel > General > Forum Promotion > Search engines.
• Change the color for the profile text which appears on the forum itself from black to white. The one for points was already done, but the rest need to be changed.
• A new banner would be nice, especially if it is centered. If you need help with it, contact me. However, if I must use the render of a pony, that would make it more difficult to work with seeing that the renders from the show don't really work well with GFX.
• Some new banners on the forum itself. Something that looks like this one.
• Edit the rules' section. It needs to be more detailed. "Don't spam and be good with everyone else" doesn't seem like a proper rule post. Specify what exactly would get you into trouble, and explain how each offense would get you into what kind of trouble.
• Use a Warning System to keep track of all the members' records. Preferably make it private too.
• Make a separate group for testers so not all staff are the only ones to be able to test members.
• Organize the widgets. Add a Clock or a Chatbox instead of the default Forumotion one we are currently using. Chatango is a good example. I'm sure DigiDigi had an even better one too.
Well, this is all I could come up with at the top of my head for now. Might add some more later on.

I love the clock idea, although i'm not a huge fan of chattago, but I also think that would be a good idea

this is a lot of information, and i am sure we will work with a lot of it as we rebuild from our hack. There is also the timing problem, i am in my last few weeks of college, so i am not always around, but we will look into these things as time goes on, right now i just want to get everything back to running 100% and such. We do have some new nifty private security bits, and ways to talk to administration in private, we are all well linked to each other. The GFX team is doing there best and we are prepping to switch to a holiday theme, so that is why we are not focused on changing the logo yet. Thank you for your ideas!

They were merely suggestions, nothing more. As for the secret staff section, I believe there should be a side for both administrators and moderators to speak to one-another through, not just one for administrator. Anyway, I'm just drawing out most of the experience I can recall concerning forums.
